OUR JANUARY 2011 MID-MONTH MISSION REPORT/PRAYER ALERT

With all our heart, we formerly welcome you to 2011, the year we see God doing great and mighty things in the life of His people. 2010 was a very good year, but the current one will be much better!
We also want to appreciate you for your sustained support to our mission work here in the Philippines, Southeast Asia and may the good Lord continue to reward and bless you in Jesus name!

(Ngozi ministering to some Badjao)

Remember that in one of our last reports we shared with you how the good Lord is opening more doors of ministry for us here. Truly He is! Just last December we started a Sunday evening fellowship using the Dumaguete Press Club, the same Boulevard area where we minister to the Badjao. It was a big favor to get that big facility for free and we need to praise God for that!

Please help us pray for the prosperity of the church planting work there, as we’re thinking that at the right time it’ll provide a means of fellowship for our ever transient and nomadic Badjao tribal people. This pioneering work will definitely require a lot of financial resources and we’re sure the Lord will do it again for us.

One other major prayer focus for us now is our planned mission support-raising event in Nigeria. Remember we told you that the venue is confirmed, that’s, The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) Ipaja branch, and the date is Sunday, March 6, 2011, by 3.00pm.

Please put it in your prayer diary as we pray for Journalist for the Christ Nigeria (JFCN) (http://www.journalistsforchrist.org), the host organization, that the Lord will guide them as they plan for the event.

Furthermore, please remember to pray for our monthly support, it has drastically dropped and unless the Lord intervenes, we’ll be in a serious jeopardy. We need more mission donors to identify with all our mission projects here, especially our mission to the Badjao tribal people.

Thanks for your prayer support and again we request that you help us mobilize for prayer awareness in your church/fellowships and also to forward this mail to as many Christian friends you have. Or better still to send us emails of your friends that you feel can help us in prayers!

Yours in Missions
